These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CarbonCrux website and tools ("Service"). By using CarbonCrux you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What CarbonCrux does

CarbonCrux provides informational tools and calculators to help you and your team understand carbon impacts and climate‑related topics. The Service is informational only; it is not a financial, legal, tax, medical, or engineering advisory service.

We work hard to use reputable data sources and sensible assumptions. However, all outputs from CarbonCrux (including calculator results, comparisons, and recommendations) are estimates for awareness and education only. You should not rely on CarbonCrux as the sole basis for critical business, financial, legal, medical, or engineering decisions. If you need specific advice, please consult a qualified professional.

You may use the site and tools for personal or internal business use, but you may not resell, redistribute, or publicly reproduce substantial parts of the Service without our written permission.

Some parts of the site (for example, blogs, news, or "Eco Picks") may reference or link to third‑party content. Those items remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their terms.

5. Affiliate Disclosure & Partnerships

CarbonCrux participates in affiliate and referral programmes, including Amazon Associates and carbon credit reseller partnerships. This means:

• Some links on CarbonCrux (for example, in Eco Picks and carbon offset project pages) are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.
• All products and services featured on CarbonCrux are selected based on their environmental merit, usefulness, and credibility — never because of commission rates. We only recommend products we believe genuinely help reduce your carbon footprint.
• Carbon offset projects listed on our site link to third-party marketplaces and project registries. We do not sell carbon credits directly. We link to verified resellers such as Gold Standard, Ecologi, and Wren, and clearly identify affiliate links where applicable.
• Affiliate revenue helps us keep CarbonCrux free and ad-free for all users.

6. Limitation of liability

• Your use of or inability to use the Service.
• Any content or information obtained from the Service.

In any case, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid us for using CarbonCrux in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim (and in most cases you pay us nothing at all).

We are always improving CarbonCrux. We may add, change, or remove features, or stop providing the Service altogether, at any time. We try to avoid breaking changes, but we cannot promise that the Service will always be available or that every feature will remain unchanged.
