It is the CO₂ from attendee travel, venue electricity (lighting, cooling, AV), and catering for a one-off gathering—a wedding, multi-day conference, concert, or similar. This tool adds those three blocks using your country’s grid and travel factors.

Travel: one-way distance × transport mode, doubled if you tick round-trip. Venue: estimated kWh for small / medium / large spaces, multiplied by your grid factor. Catering: attendees × meals per person × a meal-intensity factor (light, standard, or meat-heavy).
